Flexible electronics, also known as flex circuits, is a technology for assembling electronic circuits by mounting electronic devices on flexible plastic substrates, such as polyimide, PEEK or transparent conductive polyester film. They consist of a thin insulating polymer film having conductive circuit patterns affixed thereto and typically supplied with a thin polymer coating to protect the conductor circuits. Firmly press down the tape and sticker edges using a cloth or paper towel; or, you can use your fingers if you’re wearing a plastic glove. Make sure the sticker and tape edges are firmly stuck so that no etching cream can get underneath them. Don’t use your fingers or you will get fingerprints on the glass.
