High Tack Surface Protection Tape is a high tack polyethylene tape which provides surface protection to a verity of substrates including metal, plastic, and painted surfaces with clean removal. To achieve ultimate adhesion, the bonding surface should be clean, dry, and free of dirt and oils. The strength of the adhesive bond is dependent on the amount of surface area directly in contact with the adhesive. Firm pressure is recommended to achieve good adhesive to surface contact. Surface Protection Tape is a temporary protective mask designed for use on mirror finish to matt finish surfaces. It provides excellent protection for painted or treated aluminum, plastics, polycarbonate sheets, powder coated surfaces & similar surfaces. UV & moisture stable. Aggressive high coat weight, long ageing solvent based UV stable acrylic adhesive. Conforms to irregular surfaces and offers high tear and abrasion resistance. Able to withstand prolonged exposure to UV light. Long term exterior use able to withstand sun, wind, rain and corrosive elements providing an all-weather bond up to 4 years. Applications are, Manufacture of hot houses. Used for temporary and permanent applications such as the repair of pool liners and covers, boating equipment, canopies, broken windows and emergency repairs to windscreens and radiator hoses. PE film coated with no residue clear adhesive with high tack for surfaces that are highly matte finish and where the low tack tape do not work.
