A printed circuit board (PCB) mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic components or electrical components using conductive tracks, pads and other features etched from one or more sheet layers of copper laminated onto and/or between sheet layers of a non-conductive substrate. Components are generally soldered onto the PCB to both electrically connect and mechanically fasten them to it. Polyester backing reduces stretch and recovery of tape associated with uneven stop-off line. Thick adhesive coating reduces undercutting because adhesive blocks out solutions between fingers. Specially designed adhesive that generally performs better when no ovens are used to heat tape and boards. Polyethylene tape core instead of cardboard. Masking Tape is a gold colored specialty masking tape with a flat paper backing and a synthetic adhesive, well suited for holding, bundling, sealing and paint masking, particularly where exposure to sunlight is expected. Masking Tape can be used for a wide range of masking applications, especially for applications where UV resistance and clean removal is required and with an optimum temperature of 100°C for 30 minutes. Flat paper backing, synthetic adhesive, smoothness, easy tear, solvent and water resistance, good paint anchorage, adhesive transfer resistance and sunlight stability. Good paint line, good handling, helps resist paint bleed through, paint flaking resistance, adheres easily, clean removal from most masking surfaces.
