Double-sided tape is any pressure-sensitive tape that is coated with adhesive on both sides. It is designed to stick two surfaces together, often in a way that is not visible in the end product, due to it being in between the objects rather than overlaying them. This allows for neater-looking projects and better craftsmanship. Double-sided tape can be either thin or dimensional. The dimensional tape is thicker, and is of particular use to retail and signage uses where it can be used to allow signs or displays to stand out with a 3-D effect. Ideal for POP displays and signage. Application temperature 18°C to 38°C. Service temperature –29°C to 135°C. Thickness 13µm lm, 42µm adhesive on each side. High-temperature resistance, good shear strength, good UV resistance, and good adhesion to exible plastics. Silicone coated paper release liner. It consists of an acrylic adhesive coated on both sides of a thin tissue carrier. Double-Sided Film Tapes, and consist of an acrylic adhesive coated on both sides of a thin polyester film. A release liner is added to one side. The aggressive acrylic adhesive provides high initial adhesion to a wide range of surfaces including wood, metal, paper, and most plastics including polyethylene and polypropylene. Store in a dry location out of direct sunlight and away from all sources of heat. Ideal conditions are 200C and 50% relative humidity.
